Usually, the local Ibizan community takes part in a traditional mass ceremony, then later a street parade throughout the entire village with loud music, folk dancing, fancy dress costumes, fireworks, market stalls, children’s entertainment, and plenty of food and drink is on offer for one big party. And yes, people are still jumping through bonfires as holy-fire all-night long as part of the fun!
