We invite you to take a closer look at our island highlights and consider booking one of our luxury villa rentals based on your personal itinerary preferences.

World-Class Nightlife and Electronic Dance Music

Many tourists come to Ibiza just to experience our nightlife and electronic dance music scene. However, don’t let that fool you into thinking the crowd is merely hedonistic and unappealing. Quite the opposite is true. Ibiza’s nightlife is internationally famous, and for good reason. Our party scene consists of some of the biggest and most cutting-edge electronic nightclubs in the world, as well as glamorous and intimate parties, cosmopolitan cocktail bars, and open-air beach clubs with star DJs from around the world. No matter your mood or style, we have the hottest party, bar and club for you!

Although many nightclubs and socialite hotspots are scattered all over the island, our party and music enthusiasts tend to stay in the areas of San José, Ibiza Town, and San Antonio. Locations like these are the most convenient to all the big numbers and pre-drink VIP locations like Marina Botafoch and San Antonio Sunset Strip.

Tourism that Caters to the Needs of Families

Ibiza is incredibly family-friendly. It’s a typical Mediterranean lifestyle where children are welcomed almost anywhere and anytime. Family dinners and push-chairs during the late hours shouldn’t surprise you. Some areas are better suited to families than others, but nonetheless, families will always feel safe and integrated.

The town and local area of Santa Eulalia del Rio might be the perfect location for you if you want a modern yet family-friendly atmosphere near some of the most idyllic beaches in the east. With its old-fashioned charm and plenty of contemporary amenities, this picturesque town has a lot to offer. It’s the perfect place for relaxing, enjoying the surroundings, and feeling home away from home.

Santa Eulalia has several beautiful villas. So, whether you’re interested in the town, a little country setting, life in the local villages of San Carlos, Santa Gertrudis, and Jesús, or even the top beach hotspots like Playa Niu Blau, Cala Nova, Cala Llenya, or Aguas Blancas, be sure to check out our luxury holiday rental villas in these areas.

    Lovers of the Natural World

There’s no doubt that the sheer beauty of our island drives tourism. With so much natural allure to discover, you’ll love our crystalline beaches, countryside, and nature trails. It’s no wonder our island is a popular vacation spot. And if you’re the adventurer type, you’ll be happy to know that numerous companies offer tennis, golfing, water sports, excursions, boating, hiking, and cycling activities.

Almost everywhere on the island is close to beautiful beaches and scenic rural spots. Nature occupies most of our island, allowing you to bask in its beauty regardless of location. You may, however, be interested in luxury villas in areas like San Juan, San Carlos, or Ses Salines if you’re looking for extraordinary surroundings. Here are our top recommendations for holiday villas.

Our island is full of cultural and historical experiences. Dalt Vila is undoubtedly the most popular cultural attraction on our island. There are many Phoenician artefacts, archaeological sites, and beautiful architecture to see.

Our UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Old Town, is home to beautiful historical castle grounds and the central Roman Catholic Cathedral, Santa Maria d’Eivissa. Getting to Dalt Vila is as easy as crossing the old stone drawbridge, which takes you to the Plaza de Vila, where you’ll find cobblestone streets, bars, restaurants, and boutiques. A hike to the mountaintop offers plenty of authentic experiences and beautiful views, including La Marina, Ses Salines, and even Formentera.

Recommended areas and luxury villas for cultural enthusiasts:

What’s on in Ibiza this Summer 2022

All of a sudden, everything got a lot more exciting! Travel vaccination passports and health tests are no longer required for entry into Spain, you do not have to wear a mask in most circumstances, dancing is finally allowed, and everyone’s smiling. Ibiza is back to being as vibrant as ever, and it feels awesome.

Last month’s International Music Summit (IMS), which provides panels for the electronic music industry gave the feeling that this year is destined to be bigger and better all around. You can literally sense it in the air, everyone is ready for Ibiza 2022, and the tourism industry is already in full bloom.

Summer 2022, Ibiza is the perfect place to be if you’re looking for a vacation with a great atmosphere and pure freedom. Besides the nightclubs opening for the first time in two years, the island also offers a variety of cultural activities, natural landscapes, and of course, some wonderful places to eat, so let’s see what Ibiza has to offer in 2022.

Ibiza summer 2022: IMS Ibiza 2022

Ibiza nightclubs are open – get your party event calendar

Ibiza’s nightclub scene has already begun its opening season two weeks earlier than usual, with venues such as Ushuaia, Pacha, and being the first to kick-off following the IMS 2022 finale. Ibiza is set to have its longest clubbing season to date, which could extend as far as November. And, of course, this year’s line-ups are looking to be of an excellent standard too!

If you want to keep on top of your Ibiza party schedule, you can take a look at the Ibiza Spotlight event calendar, which has day-by-day updates on all clubs and DJs, with ticket and VIP table information. Updates are made constantly throughout the season so be sure to keep checking in.

If you like a little party but attending large-scale clubs is too intense, then check out the latest nightclub from Las Dalias, Akasha.  Open from Friday through until Sunday until 5 am, the club hosts a more relaxed atmosphere where its concept intends to generate a community spirit among the people who visit.

The classic things to do in Ibiza – things that you won’t want to miss

There is no shortage of cultural classics to experience in Ibiza and those that never go out of fashion either. The famous Las Dalias Hippy Market is always a popular island tourist attraction and home to more than 200 stalls, selling handmade clothes, jewelry, and home decor that can be enjoyed casually roaming around over drinks and freshly baked pizza or street food – all while listening to live music and local DJ’s in their tranquil psychedelic setting. Additionally, the San Juan Hippy Market is a great experience that is known to attract a more authentic crowd with locals and tourists alike flocking out into the streets to enjoy a relaxing Sunday morning.

Perhaps you prefer to stay away from the crowds and be out on the open waters enjoying mother nature at her finest. Well, in every case a day out at sea will never disappoint. There are a number of experienced boat charter companies based in Ibiza, from where you can create your own day trips, using a qualified and knowledgeable skipper, and set sail to explore all the hidden beaches, coves, and unique spots the island has to offer. There is no doubt in our minds that it is worth considering planning a trip to Tagomago and Formentera, two of our favourite neighbouring islands. We recommend checking out our collaborator Say Yachting, a low-emission boat and yacht charter company on the island that supports our ethos for sustainability.

The top recommended dining experiences in Ibiza

The majority of vacationers in Ibiza enjoy luxurious and relaxing Mediterranean evenings with great food and a few nights out to let their hair down. With elegant sea and sunset views, open-air rooftop terraces, and some excellent concept cuisine, there is no shortage of incredibly stylish restaurants to choose from.

Besides the usual favourites like Amante, Bambuddha, and Cotton Beach Club, Ibiza has seen an influx of some great new restaurants and bars opening in a variety of locations around the island.

Under Michelin Star (12) Chef, Martin Berasategui the BLESS Hotel takes guests on a gastronomic journey at the new Etxeko Ibiza. The ultimate dining experience that celebrates the joys of dining, the ancient flavours of San Sebastián, and the most sublime products of the Cantabrian Sea and the Mediterranean.

LayLah Ibiza is a restaurant and lounge bar, combining food, music, heart and soul, where globally inspired flavours are showcased through a menu of sharing plates featuring dishes such as roasted cauliflower with tahini & green chilli, fresh grilled artichokes with Parmesan, spiced chicken crispy cigars, and white fish skewer with ginger & lime salsa.

Last but not least, we recommend Boodiou Ibiza, a cocktail bar and French restaurant in the heart of Ibiza Town, serving fine dining and enriched sharing plates of French cuisine.  Artfully decorated with contemporary pieces and decorations, this small boutique restaurant will not disappoint.

Inside Ibiza’s most Exclusive Villas and Luxury Homes

A glance at Ibiza’s most exclusive villas and luxury homes

Amid the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean, 300 days of glorious sunshine, the picturesque hills of the north, and super yachts adorning the harbours, Ibiza has become a world-renowned destination island for international buyers.

Our magical white island, once most well-known for its bohemian vibe, natural wonders, and typical resort vacations, has gradually evolved into a place where rich and famous A-list celebrities and influencers come to vacation and permanently reside. This level of "elite island lifestylers" necessitates and demands lavish homes offering the highest standard of luxury. And so, naturally, the exclusive housing market in Ibiza has skyrocketed over the past decade.

Discover what constitutes a truly exceptional property and confidently guarantee an exclusive home. No matter what is on offer, be it a rare architectural gem, an immaculate finca, impeccable interior design, rarity, or simply a divine location with breathtaking views – we’ve seen it all and covered it all.

        Villa Ibiza sea view

The history of Ibiza’s luxury housing market

Over the past 50 years, the property and tourism markets have snowballed. The late 1960s and early 1970s were a time when Ibiza was more rural and humble before real tourism started on the island. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, Ibiza saw an influx of celebrity visitors. Many famous artists, including Freddie Mercury, George Michael, Grace Jones, and Jimi Hendrix, frequented the island. As a result of this tourism development, cultural change, and high-profile celebrities visiting, the island reached a much higher standard than before.

By the late 1980s, Ibiza became a reference point for the ‘disco tech’ culture, where people came from all over for the nightlife and clubs. Motorboats and super yacht chartering also became huge industries, pushing the travel economy into a high-class destination.

In a short period, property development opportunities arose. These opportunities attracted famous architects, and investors, who renovated old fincas farmhouses into artisan vacation homes. They also started to build white complexes and contemporary exclusive homes.

After Ibiza Old Town was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999, and much of Formentera was also declared a Natural Reserve, it only added to the island’s cultural and natural wealth. Since then, property prices and the travel economy have skyrocketed, but what does an exclusive or luxury property in Ibiza look like?

The essence of exclusive and luxury properties in Ibiza

There are many meanings to the terms ‘luxury’, ‘exclusive’, and ‘prestige’. Defining such terms, especially in the housing market, can vary greatly depending on the person in question. Depending on who you ask, luxury means different things!

On the white island of Ibiza, we tend to define luxury by those homes at the top of the property market, both for purchase and rental. Typically, these are villas and houses with price tags over a million, expansive grounds, high-end fixtures and furnishings, or spectacular island views. As a result of their exceptional sophistication, size, and location, they make an excellent investment for the right buyers.

Some of the most exclusive homes come with full-service property managers and household staff, so their standard of luxury extends beyond the property itself. In other words, such homes aren’t just unique and unparalleled compared to the general market. In addition, they also require skilled and trained personnel for maintenance, care, and hosting their guests or owners.

And, of course, there are some pretty spectacular properties out there. Take a look with us, region by region!

Ibiza’s exclusive villas and homes by municipality

As far as the location is concerned, Ibiza is divided into five municipalities, Eivissa, Santa Eularia, Sant Antoni, Sant Josep and Sant Joan. It is important to remember that each region offers a unique culture, which can also be reflected in the types of homes and the values of properties in each area.

Although each area has its own variety of luxury properties, most of the high-end properties on the market are mainly located in Sant Josep, which is renowned for its luxury and large-scale homes. Santa Eulalia follows swiftly behind, with San Juan displaying the highest value per square metre regarding sales. However, this is largely due to a very low supply versus demand scenario compared to an accumulation of properties.

        Sabina Estates Ibiza Cala Tarida

There are also many private urbanisations and gated communities in San José and Santa Eulalia municipalities where you can find these status homes, like Roca Llisa, Can Rimbau, Vista Alegre, Can Furnet, Cala Conta 33, Sabina Estates, and The White Angel.

Dalt Vila and Marina Botafoch are also very competitive for luxury apartments or triplex homes. Dalt Vila offers stunning authentic properties with interesting, novel-like architecture and interiors.

In contrast, Marina Botafoch provides high-class modern-contemporary luxury. These homes attract high-profile families and individuals seeking concierge and security services. Property prices here start at 1 million euros for penthouses.

*In the workplace, the obligation to wear a mask will depend on the type of premises where the activity takes place. Staff working in public areas such as restaurants and bars are always required to use protective facial masks for the protection of others and does not mean staff pose any risk to customers.

          • In a private households and cars (except taxis and public transport) it is not compulsory to wear the mask unless you are travelling with others in which occupants do not inhabit together.
