ACCESS AND PARKING
The finca is reached by a tarmac road, only a few minutes drive from the main road of San Rafael. At the entrance of the property there is an electric gate that gives access to the land. You reach an area with ample parking for many vehicles and a carport.
The main house is accessed through a small idyllic front courtyard, from which you can access the main house or the guest house. A large entrance hall, the typical "sala" of all fincas, welcomes you. From here you turn right into a dining room. To the right, the laundry area with washing machine and dryer. The spaces described are all adjoining and interconnected.
The finca is distributed with one floor, there are always some steps here and there leading to the individual spaces. From the "sala", the entrance hall, located on the right, we enter the large, almost stately living room. A cosy corner with a fireplace invites you to linger and spend long winter evenings by the fire. Next to it there is a large sofa corner with large windows, very cosy. The kitchen, with separate exit, is fully equipped. Between the rooms, a total of four double bedrooms with bathrooms en suite, large windows that provide light and high ceilings.
There is a large terrace by the pool, where a huge dining table and a long bench offer plenty of space for your guests. The fabulous pool, at 15x4.5m, has an Asian style, with a large Buddha figure in the background. At the end of the pool there is a seating area and a barbecue, as well as a garden area and a small vegetable garden.
The guest house, situated behind the main house and accessed via the idyllic front courtyard, offers more space for other guests and consists of a kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom with shower.
The whole property is very well maintained in its traditional features with high ceilings with Sabina wooden beams, white limestone walls and dry stone walls. Technical features include a central heating system (gas) with wall mounted radiators, air conditioning hot/cold in all bedrooms, well water (neighbour), 50.000 L cistern and mains electricity. There is underfloor heating (electric) in one of the bathrooms. Also fibre optic.
LOCATION, VIEWS AND ORIENTATION
The property is south facing, this property receives sunlight all day/all year round, which makes it also an ideal winter residence. From the main house and pool you can see the mountains.
